CELL GUARD 22
CHARACTERISTICS AND FEATURES: A mild firming, formaldehyde-based, 22 index arterial fluid, Cell Guard 22 combines good preservative action with the moderating effects of water-soluable lanolin. The use of several additional high-quality humectants within the fluid gives the tissue a reasonably firm but pliable feel. Special buffering and wetting agents (surfactants) provide thorough penetration and distribution. In addition, the special buffering agents hold the pH at the optimum point for preservation with formaldehyde. The new Cell GuardDye system gives a pleasant cosmetic glow to the body and avoids the harsh color frequently experienced with non-opacified dyes.

Cell Guard 22 comes in two colors: NATURAL for southern climates and darker complexions, and RED for those who want a somewhat brighter color effect.

HOW TO USE THE FLUID:  For normal cases use 8 to 10 ounces per gallon. If a co-injection is desired start with 2 to 3 ounces per gallon of Cell Guard 22.  More can be added according to the needs of the body and the dictates of professional judgment. For emaciated or small bodies use 6 ounces per gallon with 2 to 6 ounces of a co-injection such as Tissue Aid. In hard water areas or if extensive clotting is anticipated, add 2 to 4 ounces per gallon of Water/Clot Guard to improve distribution and to help remove clots.

SUGGESTED SUPPLEMENTAL FLUIDS:  Plasma Flo, Water/Clot Guard, Leak Guard, Free Flo, Humectant, Tissue Aid, Solvol, Color Guard I, Color Guard II, Cell Guard Dye, Rose Colortone, and/or Stop.
